Crazy Coaches, Fire Sales and the worst play in football history

Crazy Coaches!!

We see a video in every sport it seems like where the coach loses his temper. This new video comes courtesy of the Louisiana Icegators of the Southern Professional Hockey League and GM Brent Sapergia. Now I might know what you are thinking. "Why is the GM of the team coaching?" Well only three games into the season, the former head coach quit citing that he had to, "focus on community relations and off-ice operations." Here is the video.

It's nothing new but just made me think back to all the old videos of other well known coaches.

Who could forget this great gem!?

I did not let Dennis Green off the hook for this one!

And last but not least..

Is there a fire sale for the Tigers?

The Detroit Tigers came off of one great season this year when they lost in the one game playoff the the Minnesota Twins.(They were picked to be last in the AL Central so I would call the season reasonably successful.) But it looks like the team might be looking a little different come next spring. Catcher Gerald Laird, pitcher Edwin Jackson, and outfielder Curtis Granderson are on the trading block for the Tigers. The Tigers are looking to make some room on their payroll, but at what cost? I understand that they need to fill some holes in the field and some more consistent hitters to the lineup. Tiger GM Dave Dombrowski has gotten the Tigers into this mess and now he will fix it. Sadly it that si the wrong way to fix it. You should not get rid of your best outfielder, and an all-star pitcher because of salary. Dombrowski should have thought things through a little more before he opened up the Tiger's wallet. Bonehead play of the year!!

And we thought the Lions were bad. A semi-pro football player on the Las Vegas Cobras decided to tackle his own player on a punt return.

At least the Lions know who to hit!

  1. The Mississippi Braves manager blow up is def. the best all time. I love it when he uses the rosin bag as a grenade.

  2. To be fair you should check first to make sure that Cobras player isn't colorblind. Or maybe his agent told him to be proactive if he really wants to be traded

  3. The Jim Mora playoffs video is a classic. That will never get old. On the tigers, you are right they can not trade Granderson or Jackson. Your suppose to keep your young talent. Laird is expendable. Avilla is ready to play everyday.
